Marathon of Sport is motionball’s flagship event, bringing out corporate and standard teams for a full day of inclusive and integrated sports and activities. Teams of 10 join us on the field and compete alongside the incredible Special Olympics athletes that motionball is supporting.

In 2024, Marathon of Sport Oakville was attended by 160 participants and 25 Special Olympics athletes, raising over $40,000 for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

The Marathon of Sport is the perfect way for communities to be introduced to the Special Olympics movement and engage directly with the Special Olympics athletes they are raising funds for – allowing everyone onsite to feel and see the immediate impact of the dollars they are raising.

Participants at Marathon of Sport will get to play a variety of traditional and non-traditional sports like soccer, basketball, football, giant pong and our #NoGoodWay station – educating participants on the harmful impact of the R-Word.
