Our Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors play a key role in the Chamber. They advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, as well as provide leadership. They are our champions in the community.
Government Relations & Advocacy
The Government Relations & Advocacy Committee oversees the Chamber’s advocacy work and believe business friendly policies and the removal of red tape are key to building a vibrant business community.
The “ME” Committee works with Chamber Staff to build business to business connections through networking events, personalized introductions and the online community.
The Marketing Committee is comprised of a group of marketing professionals and act as an advisory group to Chamber Staff.
Young Professionals & Entrepreneur Group (YPEG)
The Young Professionals & Entrepreneur Group is a forum to engage young professionals and entrepreneurs to think big, push the limits and host innovative events.
Oakville Awards for Business Excellence
In partnership with the Rotary Club of Oakville West, the Oakville Chamber of Commerce organizes the Oakville Awards for Business Excellence (OABE). The OABEs are dedicated to recognizing exemplary models of excellence and community service by Oakville’s businesses. Proceeds from the Awards support the Rotary Club’s numerous youth and academic programs such as the Oakville Rotary Education Awards, Camp Enterprise, and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).
