The Oakville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our new Chair of the Board of Directors, Moatassem Moatez founder and CEO of Oakville based MyCourier Inc, an award-winning multi-solution logistics organization. MyCourier was founded in 2020, and this year celebrates 5 years of serving the last-mile sector across the GTA and Golden Horseshoe area.
In addition to running this successful enterprise, Mr Moatez’s past business experience includes leading marketing and sales teams at top multinationals like Unilever and Nestle, prior to co-founding his first startup which successfully secured a significant partnership with a leading tech company. Following that success, he proceeded to fund several successful ventures before his family relocated to Oakville where he launched MyCourier.
Mr. Moatez has been a feature speaker on prominent platforms and organizations including TEDxRIT, Rise-up, Dubai Chamber, American University in Dubai, Canadian University in Dubai, and the Dubai SME Forum. In 2024 MyCourier received the Canadian SME National Business and in 2022 he was the recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Oakville Chamber Business Awards. Mr. Moatez has served as the Oakville Chamber of Commerce Vice Chair over the past year. He is a keen supporter of business communities within his local area and works to support growth and success for newcomers to Canada.
