The Oakville Chamber of Commerce is the voice of the Oakville business community; providing member benefits including: advocacy, business development, corporate benefits, educational forums and networking opportunities. Its mission is to foster a healthy, engaged and sustainable business environment and economy in Oakville.
As a not-for-profit organization, the Oakville Chamber of Commerce was established in 1949. The Chamber has grown to over 1,200 member businesses representing more than 40,000 employees. The Oakville Chamber presents approximately 50-60 events each year and hosts a number of high profile political, business, senior government and community leaders.
In 2013, the Oakville Chamber obtained the Certificate for Accreditation with Distinction – an honour received by only 7% of all Canadian chambers.
Advocacy & Government Relations
Advocacy continues to be a significant part of the chamber’s value to its member businesses. As a politically non-partisan organization, the chamber maintains a collaborative relationship with elected officials from all levels of government.
