One of our most important roles as a Chamber is to effectively advocate on behalf of our membership.

Whether dealing with issues related to by-laws, zoning and land use, municipal budgets or strategic issues, the Oakville Chamber of Commerce proactively promotes the collective will of our membership to all levels of government—federal, provincial, regional and municipal.

Throughout its history, the Chamber has been building relationships with and actively engaging our elected officials. As we must have the ability to work with who ever is in office, the Oakville Chamber of Commerce is a politically non-partisan, not-for-profit organization.
